The work includes project management, detail engineering, procurement of materials and equipment, prefabrication of piping and steel structures, and offshore installation on the Åsgard B topside.

The Morvin topside modifications work is an option in the topside modifications contract for the Tyrihans development project awarded to Aker Reinertsen in June 2006.

The work will start immediately and will mainly be performed by Reinertsen, where 50 – 60 people will be engaged in engineering amd management. Prefabrication will be executed in Orkanger and Murmansk.

We are very happy to land this contract which has been given priority among many other opportunities. Even though this is an option in the Tyrihans contract, it has not obvious that we would be awarded the work.

The total estimated contract value for the Morvin work is approximately NOK 240
million.
